With the usual apologies for any cross-postings, I’d like to share with you this call for expressions of interest (attached) for a 2-day workshop at Copenhagen Business School on 20-21 November 2017.
The workshop brings together issues of (feminist) activism and (scholarly) writing in order to discuss the future of feminism in academia: How can ‘we’ develop a viable research agenda for social change and what are the means of communicating it – to disciplinary communities, activist networks, and society at large?
These and other questions will be discussed around four themes: 1) (Post)feminist discourses, 2) Alternative feminist organising, 3) Affective activism, and 4) Powerful writing.
It’s free of charge (there’s even PhD grants available to cover travel/accommodation costs) and paper abstract submission is not a requirement. Instead, send a motivation letter stating your interest in and ambitions for feminist activist scholarship to organisers Sine Nørholm Just (firstname.lastname@example.org), Sara Louise Muhr (email@example.com), and Annette Risberg (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 1 October.
Please circulate the call where relevant.
All the best
Venlig hilsen / Kind regards,
