Unterschriftenaktion zur Verankerung von Genderperspektiven im neuen EU-Rahmenprogramm HORIZON 2020 (Erinnerung)

We are writing to thank you for your  valued contribution to the genSET Public Consultation on the Future of Gender and Innovation in Europe, conducted last autumn as part of the 1st European Gender Summit (www.gender-summit.eu ).  Your contribution helped formulate the Manifesto for Integrated Action on the Gender Dimension in Science and Innovation.

The Manifesto was launched on the 16th December 2011, when Dr Elizabeth Pollitzer, director of Portia (genSET coordinator) presented it to the Commissioner for Research, Innovation & Science, Máire Geoghegan-Quinn.

If you haven’t already, we invite you to read and sign it by going to http://bit.ly/rLS7cn   as an expression of your continued support and to ensure that the gender dimension remains firmly integrated within policy discussions that will take place throughout the 2012 across Europe as part of the negotiations over the EC proposed framework for HORIZON 2020, leading to its approval by the EU Council and Parliament.
We hope that you will encourage others in your networks to add their name to the Manifesto as well, to help maximise its lobbying power!
